About
Built by one engineer, in the open about what it is.
Lynxaris is a trade risk platform: it answers whether a shipment can proceed, and shows the evidence behind the answer. It is developed by SatData Solutions, the trade name under which I work as a sole trader in Valencia, Spain.
Why it exists
Sanctions screening, dual-use export control and route exposure are normally three products, three vendors and three answers. The person who has to sign off on a shipment then reconciles them by hand, under time pressure, and keeps no reproducible record of how they got there.
The interesting problem is not any one of those three checks: each is well understood on its own. It is that they are the same decision. An entity, a commodity classification and a leg through a strait either combine into "this can move" or they do not, and the reasoning has to survive being read back months later by someone who was not in the room.
The rules it holds itself to
These are enforced in code and in the test suite, not stated as intentions:
- A figure without a source, a capture timestamp and a method reference is not rendered at all.
- A value that could not be measured is shown as unmeasured. It never degrades into a zero that reads as "no risk".
- An assertion needs converging evidence from independent lineages; two restatements of the same article are one source.
- A legal block outranks the arithmetic. No favourable scenario turns a blocked corridor green.
- Provenance survives export, screenshot and presentation mode. There is no view that hides where a number came from.
The same discipline applies to this website. Every claim on it is either verifiable from a public source linked on the page, or it is not made. That is why there are no customer logos, no certification badges and no availability figures here.
Where it stands
The platform is built and in active development. It is not generally available, and there is no open sign-up. Access is arranged case by case, so that the first users are people whose actual decisions the system can be measured against.
